Meet the Team
Randy Ellison, President
Randy Ellison is the founder of Targoz Market Research, a public opinion and market research consulting firm.
He advises Fortune 500 corporations, industry associations, non-profit organizations, and government agencies on consumer and voter attitudes, product development opportunities for residential and commercial markets, and communications strategies.
Previously, he was Director of Marketing at the National Federation of Independent Business and worked in media research and polling at Gannett Newspapers.
In his career, he has advised major utility, technology, biotechnology, theme park, drug store, home improvement, petroleum, grocery, university, chamber of commerce, and political clients.
Randy’s graduate degree in political management was awarded by The George Washington University, Washington, D.C., and he received a B.A. in Economics from the University of Tennessee.
After graduation, Randy worked in financial services, advertising, and marketing intelligence in Washington D.C.
Eight years later, he escaped the beltway and returned to America’s “It” city, Nashville, Tennessee, where he lives with his wife and two unruly cats. He believes in loud guitars, running out ground balls, 95% confidence intervals, and that if you play for one run, that’s all you will get.
He’s also a marginal golfer and unrepentant supporter of the University of Tennessee. Go Vols!
Chelsea Hallman, Strategy and Insights Consultant
Chelsea is an organized strategist. She loves communicating with clients and helping them create their products and processes. She has an entrepreneurial spirit that is analytically focused, and data driven. She loves to be on the cutting edge of innovation, staying up to date on all things music, tech, art, data, pop culture, fashion, and more.
Chelsea has her Bachelor of Business Administration in Music Business from Belmont University in Nashville, Tennessee. Growing up in the music industry, she has a passion to fuse her music insights with her data knowledge to push musicians to a new level.
